Stupid Personality.

In the grand tradition of linking to other stories because my own life isn't nearly interesting enough: here is an esquire article (nicked and put on the internet) about how the current American "problem" is down to the glorification of ignorance.

I quite like it, just because it enunciates my particular dislike for the Great Satan better than I've been able to (hello fbi).

Meanwhile...

At work we're going through a cheerful period were we have too many chiefs, and not enough indians. Unfortunately, I'm an indian. Add to the fact that there's half a ton of grunt type work at the moment, and I'm stupidly busy.

Stupidly busy while the middleweight team next office over are twiddling thumbs. Go go gadget work distribution.

That said, to prove that I'm still a lazy fuck, I've been doing lots of work avoidance: Here's a personality test I took (thanks to Plosiguant).

I was amused that the only locations they have in Africa for this test are "Africa" and "South Africa". Not Southern Africa, but South Africa. So we're a unique and pretty butterfly.

Other work avoidance was a happy coming together of worlds: I found a lot of mac icons on the internet. I also discovered that I can change the icon that other people see for the network servers. By themselves: harmless. Together they are recipe for world domination...or at least two minutes of amusement.

Finally, something depressing: A place where people write down (mostly photoshop really) their secret confessions on postcards and put them on the web. Sounds cool, is actually very sad.
